We are approaching the time of year that no matter where you may live in the lower 48 of the United States it will be HOT!!
The best way to get a good night sleep is to invest in Central Air. But not everyone can afford that, plus so many are still renting, so that is out of the question.
So how to get through the HOT Summer nights?
Granted you can get portable or window air conditioning units, but sometimes that is still not enough to make your nights comfortable.
Making some adjustments to your bed linens may help make a difference.
Sheets. Microfiber, Tencel, or Bamboo sheets tend to wick away moisture (what makes you hot) 1 ½ times faster than cotton…keeping you cooler.
Mattress Pads. Silk or Tencel blends also work like the sheets and tend to wick away moisture keeping you cooler.
Need something more than the sheet, then look for blankets made from Bamboo or Silk comforters to continue the theme of fibers that wick away moisture.
Wishing you cooler nights through the Dog Days of Summer.
